Blotchy skin or bloomin' radiant?

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying being pregnant, but what I'm not having such a laugh-a-minute over is the state of my sensitive skin. And boy is it sensitive.

Itchy, dry patches and a blotchy forehead is not only frustrating, but it's damn right far from 'radiant and glowing'. So, I paid a visit to the beauty therapist at work today and what was her recommendation? Good old fashioned Sudacrem. So it's not just good enough for a baby's bum?! I can also spread the thick white stuff all over my mug too. Lovely.

After a hard day at work, a near four-hour commute, prepping lunch for tomorrow, doing a clothes wash, AND putting the bins out (normally the hub's job on a Thursday, but he's out)... I'm sat looking rather ghost-like. Paired with my joggers and slippers... I'm a good catch.

Why is it that some women in the second trimester look so fabulously glowy, with thick tresses, and some (like me) could play dot to dot on her chest and melt Sudacrem on their faces? Do all women have completely different reactions to the hormones? Does it just depend on your skin in the first place?

Or, maybe I just haven't reached the glowy stage yet. There's hope yet.
